Once you've reviewed and signed, a small deposit is paid through our web portal, and your moving date is booked. The deposit amount will be applied to the final invoice.

What is a Bill of Lading?

The bill of lading is a contract between you and the mover. The mover is required by law to prepare a bill of lading for every shipment it transports. The information on the bill of lading is required to be the same information shown on the order for service. You must also sign the bill of lading. It is your responsibility to read the bill of lading BEFORE you sign it. If you do not agree with something, do not sign it until you are satisfied that it shows the service you want. The bill of lading requires the mover to provide the service you have requested, and you must pay the mover the charges for the service. The bill of lading is an important document so be careful not to lose or misplace your copy. Have it available until your move is completed.

Does Re-Move-All move long distances?

Yes we specialize in long distance cross country moves across the United States. We have a team of professional packers that will treat your items with the utmost respect and care. We also have various sized trucks to fit your moving needs.

Will you provide packing materials?

Packing materials are available for an additional charge. Re-Move-All also sells them if you want to do the packing yourself. Just remember to leave yourself enough time to get your items ready.

What payment methods are accepted by Re-Move-All?

You may pay with cash, credit card, or check (certified check, traveler’s check, bank check, or personal check is accepted with certain limitations).

How far in advance should I schedule my move?

Re-Move-All recommends at least two weeks in advance when moving locally. For long distance, we recommend at least four weeks. Keep in mind, we may be able to offer last minute accommodations in certain situations.

Is there tax on the move?

No, there is no tax on your move.

Can I ship jewelry and important documents along with other items?

No. It’s best to keep jewelry, documents and other personal items with you at all times.

Will the movers take any extra items I have?

Yes, Re-Move-All is happy to add extra items to your move, but please be aware that this will cause the estimated amount to change. Be sure to discuss any changes with your moving coordinator as soon as you can.

How many movers will you be sending?

The number of movers we send depends on your inventory and origin and destination locations - our moving coordinator will make sure you have the appropriate amount of movers to meet your needs.

Are there any items you can not move?

Yes. We will not move firearms, ammunition, drugs, chemicals, plants and pets.

How much does Re-Move-All charge for moving services?

The cost of your move will be based on your inventory, truck and crew size, the distance you are traveling and the complexity of the move. Furniture size, the number of large items and the level of fragility all play roles in determining the cost of your move. The estimate you originally receive will display the final price as long as your inventory stays the same. Be sure to ask any questions you may have, your moving coordinator has your answers.

Should I empty out my dresser drawers?

Yes, it generally makes the dresser easier to move.If you plan to pack up the contents of your move on your own, we recommend that this be done prior to your moving date. In the case that Re-Move-All is hired to do all the packing, then by all means, you can leave the dresser full. Our trained professionals will take care of it all.
